Testimonials

My son has been working with Roseanne and Gina for the past 2 years and it's been a blessing in so many levels.   There are so many positive thoughts that I can share about my experience to date, but the one that is at the top of my list is simply that Roseanne & Gina get it!

My son is now 12 years old and has been receiving speech and OT services since he was 2 years old.   I can say clearly and without hesitation that the past 2 years with Roseanne and Gina have been the most impactful years in my son's development. Their approach to providing integrated speech and OT services combined with their level of advocacy, insights and practical strategies and how much they care directly correlates to the growth and accomplishments that my son has achieved over the past 2 years.

Working with Roseanne and Gina has been an impactful experience for both my daughter, and our family.  It was a relief to find specialists who understood the connections between mind and body and have created a program that addresses both in tandem.  They are truly unique in their approach; kind, focused, communicative and intelligent. My daughter enjoyed her sessions with Roseanne and Gina and as a parent, I always knew exactly where we were and where we needed to go as a team.  They work in a holistic manner that doesn’t end when the session is over, but rather is enforced in the home, in school and everywhere throughout the child’s life.  After working with Roseanne and Gina, my daughter demonstrated an increase in confidence, executive function and fine motor skills.  Roseanne and Gina are experts in their fields, passionate about their work and helping children and compassionate and individualized in their approach.  We will always be thankful for the incredible support they provided to our family.

Gina and Roseanne are an extraordinary team and truly dedicated to their work with children--as a parent I cannot even begin to express how grateful I am for how they have transformed my son, who came to them not speaking and, in less than a year, is now speaking conversationally in full sentences.  When he wasn't talking like his peers at the start of his first year of preschool, I was concerned and afraid.  I wasn't sure what the problem was or how we could help him.  I had spoken to several specialists and I felt that nobody was able to cut through to his issues and needs until I had one phone conversation with Roseanne.  She knew right away what he needed!  I was completely unaware that motor skills were related to speech.  So Roseanne's speech therapy works hand in hand with Gina's occupational therapy, giving my son the support he needs during these pivotal preschool years to excel in the classroom.    When they work simultaneously with him, it's really amazing to watch their synergy as a team.  They are among those talented, special professionals who truly care and go the extra mile!

Last year, teachers at Third Street Preschool joined Roseanne Legrand and Gina Davis for a

series of 5 executive funtion workshops.  It was an amazing opportunity, and one that continues to inform our teaching practice in important ways!  Through projects, role plays and readings, we gained new practical tools as well as a new lens for understanding our children. We all came away with an understanding of how exectutive functioning impacts young children’s school experience.  Teachers are now able to design strategies for children whose under-developed planning and/or organizational abilities interfere with their learning.

Gina worked with our daughter, who had a stroke in utero, and we cannot say enough good things about her. Gina is wonderfully warm, kind and enthusiastic. My daughter was instantly enamored with her. But what became quickly evident is how knowledgeable, insightful, and creative she is. She brings such integrity to her work, and such commitment. She tirelessly invented interesting, creative, unique things to try, which were effective not only in what they were aiming to accomplish, but almost more importantly, in keeping our daughter engaged. Gina shared the latest research with us and was also so open to hearing about new things we had learned. We continue to rely on the techniques, ideas, and even toys that Gina shared with us. She has an enormous heart, and we're so grateful we found her and that our daughter could see her for as long as she did. We have worked with a number of therapists over the years and Gina remains one of our absolute favorites.
